Security
Built for utility data
Each utility runs in its own isolated environment on AWS.
- Separate per utility. Each customer has its own database, storage, users and API. Nothing is shared between utilities.
- Sign in with your work account. Microsoft single sign-on with your existing MFA, Google sign-in, or invite-only accounts managed by your own administrators. A utility with its own identity provider (SAML or OpenID Connect, such as Okta) can use it by arrangement.
- Encrypted end to end. TLS 1.2+ in transit, encryption at rest, key-only SFTP, and no meter data on public pages.
- Upload-only connector keys. The browser connector's key can only send files. It can't read data, and admins can revoke it at any time.
- Need more? The Enterprise secure deployment option adds required authenticator-app sign-in and an encryption key you can switch off.
- Your history stays yours. Tamper and event history is retained, so the evidence is there when a meter is questioned months later.
New features
Recently added New
More control over your data and how people sign in, added to every utility's environment.
Data use controls
Your administrators choose whether your data may help improve detection or appear in combined public statistics. Opting out takes effect from the day it is saved, and every change is recorded.
Meter ID privacy
Prefer not to send real meter numbers? Replace them with substitute IDs on your own network before files leave it. You keep the key, and detection works the same. Ask us for the guide.
Secure deployment option
For the strictest requirements: required authenticator-app sign-in and an encryption key made for your utility that you can switch off. See the Enterprise option.
Activity audit trail
Sign-ins, page views, exports, uploads and administrator changes are recorded, so you can see who did what and when.
Strict browser security policy
Every page is served with a content security policy that limits where scripts, data and connections can come from, and blocks the site from being embedded elsewhere.
Roles for every user
Administrators, analysts, viewers and shop users each see only what their role needs, enforced on the server as well as in the page.
