Privacy Policy
Meter Health Score is operated by Wood Diversified, LLC, doing business as MeterHealthScore.com and Meter Health Score ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use meterhealthscore.com and the Meter Health Score service, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
Sign-in details. Your name, work email address and role in your utility. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive only your email address and name from that provider. We do not receive your password, and we do not ask for access to your mail, files, contacts or calendar.
Activity records. Sign-ins, the pages you open and key actions you take inside your utility's site, kept so your utility's administrators can review who did what.
Utility data. Meter and endpoint data your utility sends us (meter identifiers, readings, device and event data). The service is not designed to receive customer names, account numbers, payment information or other personal information about your utility's customers, and your utility agrees not to send it. Utilities can also replace meter identifiers with their own substitute identifiers before sending.
Messages to us. Details you give us through the contact form or by email.
2. How we use it
We use these details to sign you in, provide and secure the service, support your utility, and answer your messages. Subject to each utility's data-use choices (including its opt-outs under its agreement with us), we may also use de-identified utility data to improve our detection methods and to publish anonymous combined totals. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Google sign-in
Meter Health Score's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use your Google email address and name only to identify you and sign you in, and we do not share them with anyone else or use them for any other purpose. Only people your utility has added to its user list can sign in.
4. Who we share it with
We use Amazon Web Services to host the service and send email. These providers process data only to run the service for us. We share information with others only if your utility directs us to, if the law requires it, or to protect the service from abuse. Your utility's administrators can see its users and activity records.
5. Security and retention
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the people who need it to run the service. We keep sign-in details and activity records while your utility uses the service, and delete or de-identify them within a reasonable time after it ends, unless the law requires us to keep them.
6. Your choices
You can ask your utility's administrator to correct or remove your user entry. You can also contact us, using the link below, to ask about the information we hold about you. Utilities can opt out of data use for improvement and for public statistics from their data-use settings page.
7. Changes and contact
We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Questions about this policy: contact us.
